HITACHI TRK-7800HC Stereo Boombox, 1980 w Original Box. Condition is "Like New". This unit has never been used. All knobs and functions work. Unit is almost blemish free, no dings or scratches. Extremely minor shelf wear on the bottom from being on display (wasn't there when I first got it) and a nearly invisible tiny cloudy spot (about 1/8 of an inch) on the tuner glass that should buff right out. However, as is common with vintage tape decks that have sat unused for decades it will need the belts replaced to keep your cassettes from slipping. A minor service (usually about $50 from a qualified technician) will be necessary if you plan to actually use the tape deck. I only had this for display purposes in my listening room. Everything on this unit is clean inside and out. Battery compartment is clean as a whistle. All knobs, buttons and antenna are tight and crisp. Everything lights up as it should. Radio reception is great. Original box is included. A fantastic deal on a vintage Boombox from a major manufacturer in this condition.
